Help!
Check out frame, oh and help with multiwii

This is our completed prototype for our capstone project at Ryerson University..... well at least the frame is. It still doesn't fly as slow or as stable as we want.

I'm trying to put together a multiwii board and am having trouble arming it. With the WM+ and nunchuck, the green led flashes continiously indicating connection problem, but when it's connected to the computer it shows the gyro and accel readings fine. Well the gyro any ways, the accelorometer jumps to like 200 with even the slightest movement. When the nunchuck is disconnected, the led doesn't flash anymore, but it still doesn't arm. The controller stick movements show up fine in the GUI, what could be preventing the board from arming?

Try to adjust the EP (end points) of your transmitter's throttle and yaw.
Start with -115% for the lower throttle and -110/+110 for yaw.

btw: nice rollcage! Will protect the electronix even if you drop it from a skyscraper.

Set aux1 as the ARM and imo it sounds like the sensors are not powered when it's connected by battery. Check it is supplying 5v!

Thanks guys, I tried both end point adjustment and the aux. The endpoint adjustment arming made the light become steady, but it doesn't show armed in the GUI. The aux arming doesn't make the light come on, but it shows arming in the gui.

Will try the board out tomorrow.

Is there anyway to fix the nunchucks crazy accelerations? I have all the debugging buttons clicked already and it still jumps to realy high accel when moved. The z accel also goes back to 200 after calibration.

If u r using clone WM+, you need to do this mod

"you have to disconnect the other big chip from ITG3205 by desoldering or cutting pins 2 and 3 (shown on the right picture with yellow and green small circles);"

But what will this do for the nunchuck? That mod is for improperly working gyro right? My gyro's seem to work correctly.

No, the nunchuck adds additional sensors that can be used for setting up a stabilization mode, it has accelerometers in it. This is separate from the gyro. It's optional, you don't have to have it. If your plan is sport flying then you don't want or need it, but it can be helpful when you're learning or doing AP.
