Yep, that's standard operation for radios without model match.

It's a bit more complicated in a module-based setup, as you bind the receiver with the module, not the radio. To add model match, the radio would need a way to tell the module which model memory is selected, which isn't possible with the simple PPM signal that's used between the radio and module.

After laughing at it, now I like the dayglo orange one too!

the fact they put DSM2 is just a shame, i bet OrangeRx are the manufacturers of this radio,
otherwise FrSky would had been a much wiser selection.

I thought this Tx is DSMX compatible. Anyone have a linky that shows definitely this Tx will have DSMX and not just DSM2?

Looks like its easy to unscrew the white front panel. Think I will take mine off and respray it to a darker color!

Oh looks like they are calling it Storm Trooper style on Facebook.

Hopefully the Storm Trooper is FCC certified before being sold to the US.
