Unfortunately, I think we have to open and inspect all these radios. I was in denial until I had a failure. I don't expect someone who is making 10 cents an hour to give a hoot about my model. It's really amazing how cheap they can sell this stuff for, even with our increasingly worthless dollar (but that's another topic). But at least companies like Spektrum, Futaba, Airtronics, even though they use the same factories, spend a little more and excercise a little more quality control because they HAVE TOO. They have a reputation to uphold. Otherwise, why would we spend hundreds of dollars on their radios? With these cheap brands, all they have to do is be cheap. Failures will not hurt sales when you are the cheapest.
