Only 10 days to go

This is going to be an excellent event, don't miss it. The list of sponsors is incredible and every one is working hard behind the scenes to make this a fantastic fun fly for all. Bring out your entire hanger (electric only) and fly till your heart is content. The field has plenty of room to fly and we will even have an over flow area to fly in should the primary area become full. The field is looking great and the crew at Triple Creek is working hard to make this a memorable and exciting event.

I can't wait! Got T-shirts lined up and most of the fleet ready to go.
Couple of flying buddies will be coming too.
Just have to figure out how to get them all packed in the Suburban!

If you're talking about the video a couple posts up, that was shot at the SRQ Squadron in Sarasota this morning. It's still a nice facility though. 500' x 100' runway with nice clean approaches on both ends and electricity in all the shelters.
Hmmm maybe the Wattfest committee could approach them for next year. It's a great place for the bigger electrics & EDF's with all that runway.

so the weather forecast is holding 70 low to 88-90 on both days.
checking notams everyday ,(one went up in Miami on the 11th) , so i can jump on that if need be. but as i read news articles , no mention of possible campain stops here.

as the pilots get more exicited, i have to admit i get more nervous...Did i remember everything?

Hey guys, some cool news! I took the new Sebart MythoS 125e to E-Week and as part of that, Thunder Power was offering a 15% discount on all Sebart products during that event only. I just heard that they would love to extend the same offer for WattFest! They are offering the following promotion on Sebart products (North America only);

"Get a one-time, 15% discount on all SebArt products until October 19, 2012. Orders can be placed by calling 702-228-8883 (M-F 8:30 4:30 PT).

Promotion Code: RCG15JF"

I've got a Miss Wind on the plate next!

Oh man, you forgot my shirt? dang....

I'm stoked! Working on carrying cases for all my micro planes. Still have a couple of small repairs to do then I'm ready to start packing!
Any idea how the event will be set up? I'm hoping to get there early and snag a spot under the shelter. Hopefully we can set ez-ups in front of the shelter and put our planes there?
