Su-27 Flanker for FMS?

I've done 'due diligence' scouring the internet for any of the Flanker variants, but with the exception of the Berkut, there's nada.

But until today, I had never noticed this discussion topic. So ... maybe someone in here knows of an Su-27 for FMS?

TIA!

Thanks, aeropal! Been there, already have each of your recommendations, plus some others.

Surprises me that the '27 hasn't been modeled already. Looks like I'll need to learn how.

Do a search in the FMS Forum -> Model section. A guy said he made one in May 2002 but didn't post it. You might try emailing him and see if he'll send you a copy.

You know, Keith ... I searched that site extensively.

Or so I thought.

The default search parameters prevented me from seeing most of the threads, and I never realized it until I followed up on your post.

So, I am awaiting an e-mail from 'Joe Smith'. If he's willing to share, I'll stick a link to the files in here to close out this thread.

Thanks, Keith!

Thomas Nelson,

Found a Sukhoi 27 at Pierre Gentil's Website.

Bullseye, ggunners ... thanks!

Kills me that I couldn't find it myself.

BTW, here's the file adjusted to FLY like my '27, on my joystick. The numbers in the .par file, however, don't really add up.

Thomas,

As we've discussed, Logic Wizard provided his kind permission to let me adjust his Mig29 model to more closely approximate your fan-fold foam SU-27.

You yourself adjusted the .par file for better flight characteristics.

You can find the result of our 3-way collaboration at My Web Site.

The FMS model looks great and flys well. Congrats on your build and future Flankers.

Thanks so much - excellent job!

Next holiday, I'm going to play with Metasequoia and see what it's all about. The tutorial looks very informative, and there are certainly lots of models to use as starting points.
