Cool, thanks.

I've been trying to come up with a combination of nylon bolts, steel washers and o-rings to spare my perspex tricopter hub from shattering.

One of the most popular mounting materials in the industrial sector appears to be silicone though, so I'm going to end up pouring some into a mould and experimenting with that too. It's cheap and easy to fabricate using the 'Liquid Nails' variety commonly used in guttering seals..

How did this turn out. I am researching various vibration dampening products and I am very interested to hear your results.

From what I've seen, wire mounts tend to work nicely.

I'm building a simple one right now. I'll let you know how well it works

Using an ND filter for your gopro can also make a significant difference in jello reduction.

I mounted my camera wrapped in sorbothane. I also used the Kyosho zeal gel for my Naza. I think they both work great.

First TBS flight recorded Horyzon HD v2 (6 min 17 sec)

You can buy from Gelmac in the UK but definitely not for CHEAP.

In Italy found also company that offer dampening products including Aplha gel.

http://vibind.altervista.org/index.p...-gel-chip.html

In my question for Aplha Gel prices was
For one GT-2 tape was 46.14 euro
For one chip GC-1 was 24.52 euro
Minimum quantities for order 2pcs per item.
You have to pay also the transportation.
Not cheap guys.

Ended up buying insoles from Walmart. Cut up the sorbothane into sizeable pads. Works great and cheap!

gel pads

Hi Mark,
I had a peak at your store and could not find any gel pads. Do you still have them? I would like to get some for mounting my APM.
Thank you and best regards,
Hards
