WL V929 V911 Rumble !

OK, my new V929 arrived today. Just happen to have my other charger handy and charged battery. Installed TX batteries and gave it a flight. Set TX at 60% and it flew great, just like the other one. I learned from other V929 that 20/40% are not good flying settings. Yes it works but mucho better at 60%. 100% will be later outside. Flew two 911 just for fun and they work very well.

Went to a local park to meet Tucsonflyer. He just finished a T-Rex 250, awesome bird. He gave me a V00D01 and very kind offer. Very nice little FBL 4 ch Walkera heli. It just needs tail boom fixed and looks great, again thank you Tom. The T-Rex 250 is smooth as glass and very agile, best luck with it.
Cheers..Dan

I visited a friend today, and brought 2 v911 and a v929.
First we flew the v929 for a bit, it crashed a lot, but no problems. But near the end of the battery it gets attacked by a falcon or something similar our erratic flying probably made it think it was a wounded bird, and thus easy prey. It came in from behind us, bit I luckily had just killed throttle, so it missed. No damage to bird or beetle
We then continued with the v911s. A bad crash on the first flight seperated both battery wires, and on the next flight I snapped a tail motor wire, so we were done flying within 5 minutes after starting with the heli's

I took my V929 to a field by the sea (East Coast Park) for 2 batteries worth of flight. I started off flying low and close to the ground to get myself warmed up. Then proceeded to fly normally at a higher altitude. Lastly, I let it rip at high speed. It was slightly windy but I just need to react to the gusts of wind early.

I replaced broken boom on V00D01 and had to cut wires to tail. Little hard soldering tiny wires but took my time. Anyway charged batteries and behold it works fine/ all fixed. Had to try it as first FBL F/P heli. No problems but kept flight short. My first brushless mico 100 size and like it. Fire up my V929 and its new brother to get some air time. Happy landings to all.

Three through the v929 between rain showers, two with camera, and all in too much wind

I'm visiting my Dad in FLA. I got a pack in this morning and two on Sunday and Saturday respectively. We fly near a canal a couple of miles from my Dad's house. It's a good place to fly but you have to watch out for fire ants and alligators :-)

One battery hover training indoors, as the weather outside was too much, rain and a strong gusty breeze.

Got to fly my Genius CP outside yesterday afternoon. There was a light breeze and it seemed to handle it just fine, especially considering that I am new to CP helis! During the second battery though apparently I lost the motor wire, it broke off right as it goes into the rear of the motor itself. So... another motor on order.

Still had fun actually getting it to hover!

Flew both V929's and very nice . Then broke flybar on HK -136 but it broke clean and just installed some metat tubing that fit. Works fine. My blue bnf V911 never flew right from start and allways had to hold rudder to fly straight, it gave up and tail motor is dead. Ordered anther bnf with extra tail motor. With helis you either break parts or they fail by themselfs. Crashing isn't going to help either. Now I see why some guys make Frankencopters. $4.00 motor no big thing. T-mart free shiping and you get item in four days.

Two batteries on my 929 with #16 attached trying to film my son riding around on his scooter. Some of the shots turned out very cool and I found it a challenge trying to follow him while doing my best to keep him in frame. Still in love with this quad

jcmors - try a dab of hot glue where each wire goes into the new motor. I had trouble with broken wires until I started doing hot glue; it seems to work!

2 batts on the MiniCP, outside. A little gusty, but the heli stayed stable in the air, with some corrections.

Flew both V929's todat and two V911's. Aslo later flew my new U 816 quad..small like V939 size. Flys nice, comes with two batteries. V911 usb cord work with charger. Tx has two rate modes/ botton for 360* inversion [flip]. It is quick when you get it going. Hovers nice, and rudder is quick. TX very toy looking and feel. uses four AA cells but works fine. Smooth and lifts off right now and plenty of power, good item. I ordered from T-mart last Sat. Arrived today Wen.. Blades come off easy so be careful to look to make sure they are on after less than perfect landing. Cost was a little less than RTF V929 but you get two batteries and don't have to wait over 2 weeks. Plus box came uncrushed like my two V929's.
