I did some research yesterday night but could identify what I saw. It looked more like an eel than a snake but there was no water nearby. It moved very fast in a slithering manner. I wonder whether it might have been some other type of reptile with legs.

There is not a lot of wildlife here but what is around seems to be quite diverse. I am sure a snake would be scared of humans because we eat them over here. Snake meat tastes like chicken by the way,

2 batts on the Mini CP, I was able to get a few seconds handsfree hover, and keep the heli in a smaller "box".

LOL, SPFan. It's nice to see "training" posts like this. I'll be doing that later tonight with my new MSRx, I think.

4 packs on my MSR before and after work today.

Two packs on my MSRX. Put it on the "high" rates I've set up on my DX6i. Starting to get a feel for this FBL heli. Haven't successfully done piros yet because of the unique characteristics of this heli. On the other hand, I'm 110 pages into the MSRX thread on these forums so I'm learning a lot about how to fly this thing!!!

2 batts on the Mini CP again. Getting the hover more solid every time. Also got more batteries on the way, flight times are quite short when you are practicing.

Be prepared to see a lot more of these postings. Hover with tail facing me is pretty locked in, I can always get the heli to spot land on a record sleeve, which acts as heli pad. It's just that as soon as I touch rudder to try some circles, it get's hard. I need a bigger space to practice...

Next time you eat shredded chicken, remember that it may be snake or alligator.

So did you fly today../it was a little too wind here in VT to fly the 120 this morning and afternoon so hope for little or no breeze this evening....

Well the wind dropped off enough to fly my 120SR two packs around 2100 utc this evening

2 batts on V929 in quite strong wind outdoors ...

Mostly learning 100% rates and flips (why it won't flip time after time ? there is a 2-3 sec pause programmed ...)

My mouth keeps smiling 10 min after the flights

This thing, for this price, is an absolute "must-have-blast-for-every-RC-fan" !

Toomorrow going to order another V929 (spare/gift) and at least 2 more packs !

Strongly considering E9X for my V911's and V929's ...

Took a suitcase of helis out to a park. Flights included 4x MSR, 2x MSRX, 9958, 2x V911. Would have flown more but I had to go back because there were too many dogs showing up at the park.
