Did you do this because you noticed vibrations?
I've seen posts about this problem in other threads earlier.

Honestly at this stage of my learning I wouldn't know a vibration from an oscillation

Seemed like a good idea though

You would probably have noticed these vibrations as "jello" on your video recordings.

I use and sell the Tiger motors, 2216s will be a good fit on that frame, I used then on a custom ht-fpv frame build with wkm. With 4s you will probably need to go 8" props, I had the custom build on 3s with 10".

Some pics, video and info. http://www.flitelab.com/Reviews/HTFPVFrameOverview.aspx

Hi; First post to these forums I think, and have only been flying Quads (Hoverthings frames), since March, so you can take my comments from whence they come. : ). I am using these 2216-900kv T-motors also purchased from Mark@Flitelab, on the HT-FPV. I really like the responsiveness with 4s and 9x5 Graupner E-props, using 3 to 3.3A Batts. Carrying just a GoPro, the rig hovers at about 40-42% with lottsa pop, and seems to work better in breezy, windy conditions.
Using 3s, 3 to 3.3A Batts. and 10x5 Graups. or Gemfams, I don't see a lot of difference in performance, but it seems mebbe a wee bit more loose and a tad more floaty in the wind.
The Graups. with these motors, are really smooth and allow a very good Vid. just about jello free using 1080HD.
Hope this helps...Matt

I just posted 2 videos on the last page that shows the difference between DJI 920's and the 2216-11 900's on the last page. Both were running 10" slow fly props on 3s though. No matter what motor you choose be sure to balance your props, it can make all the difference.

First build

This is my first quad - very new to ALL this, but I am very excited to get this in the air - still waiting on ESCs, and other things.....
My plan is a HTFPV frame with:
-Eagletree OSD and logger and GPS,
-ImmersionRC 5.8 vTX
-GoPro flight record
-readymaderc - RMRC-540N video for FPV
-Turnigy plush 30A ESC
-3300mah 3S main lipo
-500mah 3S vTX lipo
-28-26A motors (had to cut the shafts)
-DJI NAZA with GPS
-Eagle tree ground station (readymaderc tracking station)
-Fat Shark goggles

Some suggests most welcome on my wiring diagram I know it is not right - little confusing to a newbie. I also got power distribution plate from HT would like ask for some guidance as how best to solder that up? Would I be better off
with a 750mah for video system? Question on GS - how best to wire up the lipo there would like a dual 5000mah setup - is it best to use a regulator there?
I'll be powering the tracking station and servos, 5.8 video receiver, fat sharks, and perhaps a small LCD of some sort - still working on that idea....
One last thing - how best to power the FPV camera?

Draft Wire Diagram

Ground Station under construction:

Cut down the 28-26A motor shafts:

Shaft almost flush with the motor - but there is room with the motor mounts anyway:

Arms are done and Body shafts installed - I CA'd the motor mounts - hope I don't regret that...

In the mean time I am abusing an MQX quad - to brush up on my flight skills and
get myself comfy with the Specktrum DX8.

TIA
