Thanks! The only problem I have now is that I cannot afford a GoPro... (for awhile)

I'm ready to try some FPV though! I'm a little nervous LOL

I still gotta get it dialed in, my yaw tends to drift and it takes some stick to correct it so I don't think I can FPV with it yet.

Be aware that those prop spinners may produce bad vibrations. I recommend replacing them with 5mm lock nuts.

Looks like you are gaining a lot of weight on the tail there with gear, be sure your CG is within the correct range. Slapping a gopro on the front would probably do it

If you are using the multiwii type controller, it does tend to drift in yaw quite a bit... it needs constant trimming. The Naza though for example has no yaw drift. Each flight controller is different.

One thing to check though, make sure you have no twist in your arms.. if you see one twisted just give it a good firm twist the other way and tighten everything up again.

The only issue you should ever find with yaw which is frame related is that it is slower than a smaller frame, or similar sized frame with larger props. The total weight effects this also. But for video we really want is smooth yaw, not fast yaw. Fast yaw is possible though with the right combination of props and settings. Setup is everything.

HT-FPV OpenPilot CC tuning, LOS flight (2 min 38 sec)

I'm narrowing down the yaw drift on my HT-FPV, which is alot easier thanks to the 3DR radio... hover for a sec, see what's happening... land, adjust value on laptop and write, hover, test, repeat

Ok finally got around to timing the 3300 3S batteries and I get about 8 minutes of hover time. It hovers at half stick.

It's crazy windy outside today, so i'm doing all these hover tests in my living room

My first real FPV Experience. I think I like it. Not sure yet. Need more practice and also need my bird to be a little more stable I think. Let me know what you think.
