"Shamrock V" J Boat

The six (6) coats of varnish are dry. Natural light revealed some beautiful colors. Time to move on to move on to the houses.

You did a beautiful job on the wood deck!

You mentioned in an earlier post this was your first planked deck. How hard was it? Did you find the video benificial?

Would you do it again?

I have a Canterbury J on my list of "Wanting to Build One day" and would love to make it to a scale boat with a wood plank deck, houses, vents etc. Not for racing, but just the beauty of the boat.
