Eflite Ultra Stik prop advice please

Having some spare Parkzone 480 motors I installed one in my new Efilte Ultra Stik. The plans call for a Eflite 450 motor. Is there much differences between the motors and what prop size would you recommend. Thanks

Hey now,
The big difference is that the PZ motor weighs more. It puts out a bit more power but you'll have to push the battery way far back to get it to balance.
Oh yeah, pair it up with an APC 11-7 e prop and a thirty amp (or more) ESC and you'll have more speed and thrust than you need, but not more than you may want...

@elfwreck - thanks for the info. Got the CG correct. What size prop can tone it down a bit. Can I use a 10X8 slow fly prop. Also got some 9.5X7.5 props. Running a efilte 30amp esc with 2200mah 3s lipos. Thanks

BTW: Changed the wing and landing gear bolts to 6/32 nylons to save breaking any wood on a bad landing.

Hey now,
Don't use a slow fly prop on that motor. The prop is too flexable at the Rome the motor likes. Try the 11-7. You can always throttle back and you'll really like the climb rate. You could run as small as the 9-7 but that's way under propped for the motor. I know PZ uses about that size prop with that motor but that way it only puts out about eighteen amps or so. We, excuse me. I meant "draws" about eighteen amps. And it runs best right around twenty five to thirtyfour or so.
