Russian tank

Hi ,I recieved a russian tank today but the front sprocket was broken off from the chassis. does anyone have any repair idea's short of sending it back ot he seller. Would a screw inserted from the inside of the tank work? I am in a remote part of Canada.

Hi mroberts1999
What "Russian" tank do you have

The drive sprocket is made up of two half sections (inner & outer)
is the damage to the inner section ?

are you able to post a pic

Cheers for now

Sorry maybe I can explain this better as I am not the best for uploading pic's. The problem is with my two front idlers. They are broken off with the chassis hull. I am trying to mend them with a high quality adhesetive but was wondering if I split the hull would I be able to use a piece of sheet metal and a self tapping screw to hold them back in place. Or just buy a new lower hull but I'am havin a hell of a time looking for one.

ah the KV-1
option1
purchase another lower hull section

http://www.rctank.de/product_info.ph...kl0bb6m9fkufk2

option2
fix whats broken & maybe void any warranty you have

You could try alittle DIY and repair the axal

front idle wheel removed & showing the static track tension system

look for spare parts like these

little hard to guess what's broken off but maybe these options may help to resolve

WARNING!!!

No more RC COMMAND. Although the website is up and working, they are out of business.

Nice tips on the repairs though!

No worries. Just don't want anyone to get taken.

(I would 'kill' the link to that website though)
