I wanna say there were about a dozen pilots, no more than a half dozen in the air at any one time though. Still had a great time as always though!

Jeff took home the trophy with a whole 7 points. We finally have a couple hours this afternoon at dinosaur ridge right before the storms started.
I finished in 2nd with 3 points and Dave and JC tied for 3rd. Fun weekend. I had a good adventure on the dirtbike in the heavy rain on Friday night. I had a big time struggle with the road trying to get back up to the camp sight as the 5 hrs of heavy rain turned the road into a muddy, slippery, mess. It took 3 tries to make it up to the turn off to dinosaur. I was completely gassed by the 3rd try after picking up the bike multiple times and stalling countless times trying to swim the bike up the road in the deep ruts. Oh, and I lost another plane off the main hill. DLG ran out of radio range due to my poor antenna setup and crashed below the trees hard. I looked about 1.5hrs and never found the spot. Overall, I got lots of needed exercise between the long hike and the bike adventure. Lost 5 lbs despite the constant snacking. Andrew |
