Not much going on here as far as the build goes....

I sliced off the rough open end. (And covered myself in dust!)
You can see the build lay-up of the mould with the sand/resin fill.
Almost...
Fossil like!

The stop end has been filled...
A bit rough, but the lay-up won't extend to the back.
It's simply there to form support for the inflation bladder once under pressure.
I'l leave it like that for the time being, as I need to move on to the main fuz!

The moulds have been buffed, and are looking pretty good!
Now the shine comes out Chris!

I must say that if I had to critisize...
I think the moulds were stripped too soon, as the one half has slight weave print though.

Adam recommends that you leave it for seven days.
I'll check it out on a casting, and if need be, I'll sand/buff it out later!

Looks like my press that I made for myself years ago. I just pulled them out of storage.
Nice work!

So... has anyone on PE noticed the missing bridge?
Or did you only steal every other girder?

Father, it's been a week since my last

confession
posting!
I have used language all day!!

I did get rather frustrated trying to make inflation bladders!
I've settled on a black bin type bag.... Not perfect, but seems to be holding under pressure.
There is some minor hissing emanating from the mould, and the pump cycles every 10 minutes or so.
I currently have it set at 45psi and holding thumbs!
No bang yet!

I "popped" the mould and I have a.....
Fish-head!
I'll learn as I go along.
There were three cotton strings in the lay-up that were to short to pull thru,
It will serve it's purpose however.
The plug has to be adjusted for fitment and shaping.

Now to get rid of all the other sundry builds!

Nice, Johann! I don't know... are the strings just to hold the bladder in place til you the 'sandwich' is made? Did you leave the strings in the whole time? Can you post a link to the DLG thread?
