I definitely found that the rudder is a must with this bird too. I don't know if it is correct but a lot of times I will hold left rudder and a very slight right aileron for a left turn. It seems to limit the stalls for me.

Mark the CG range; start fudging. Both directions.
It's part of making the magic.

Finally got to maiden mine yesterday. About 15mph winds which made me a little nervous at first, but I figured I'd give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! I love this plane! I got it up to about 15 "oh craps" high, and let it loose. Toyed around with it to see how far I could push it before it tip stalled. Like the major said, rudder is a must. I did find that I had to increase the throws quite a bit to get it to respond the way I wanted. This is definitely not a calypso, and it is quite a bit faster. But I got it up pretty high, nosed it into the wind, and it floated there in that one spot for about 10 seconds. I pulled out of it, but I'm pretty sure it would have stayed there longer if I wanted it to.

Now the only thing I have left to do is set the ESC break. I know it's in this thread, just gotta find where...

Great thread guys... I have been looking at this glider for a while and I finally pulled the trigger with BH yesterday. I am looking for something to put my keyring camera on and this looks like it will do just great as long as I keep it centered.

I actually have one that's a little beat up that I'd sell for 50 plus actual shipping. I'm not gonna list it for sale or anything but if somebody here is looking for one I might be willing to box it up and send it off for that. It's all together and in working order. I've just taped up the front end due to replacing the motor and a few rough landings and I recently broke the prop trying to fly it with a big battery. If anybody from this thread is interested just pm me and I will send some detailed pics of any damage and a shipping quote.

No worries. The offer stands for anybody that may be interested. I'm not really looking to get rid of it just yet unless somebody needs one. I've been flying multi rotors mostly lately.

Anyone have the ASK23? How does it compare to the ASW-28?

For those flying the ASW28, please comment on it's thermaling ability. Any input would be helpful.

I don't see anybody talking about thermaling ability. More about how to maiden it.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Way to welcome newcomers there SH...Lol. I don't know enough about thermalling to be much help lee. I do know I've had some trouble getting it down for landing on hot windy days though.
