How many planes do you need for SEFF?? 15-20 or more??
I know you got people there that will help you build just about anything you bring. You are going all out on "The Lainemobile", tires, rebuild the carb, mirrored ball, cleaning the tape deck heads, spic -n- span the inside, graphics on the side, front, etc, will they say, SEFF or BUST!! Got the 110 running yet? Now you are finished building, the next project will be getting ready to leave, that will take a few days. Hope you made a list of what to take. You are going to need it. Conehead Orrin Eldred Next year, I will be coming to SEFF, it will be the only chance I ever get. |

How many planes... I dunno, all of em maybe! I'll still be building when I get there as per usual. I still havent finished my big one, and I have at least 3 more to cut on the CNC machine.
I still havent touched the 110v system. I'll try to get to it, but I got to thinking, I really dont need it. All I need are lights and my propane powered fridge/stove/oven. As for a list of what Im taking... geesh, I havent even finished building yet, I dont have the vehicle ready to drive, it has no hitch yet for the trailer, and I cant find a disco ball anywhere! Grrrr.... I need more time or two or three clones! Laine. |

Whoo hoo! Thanks to my sorta new Commander at work, Zach Keefer, and my new neighbor Josh Pemberton, the fuel lines and filter have been replaced on the beast, the running lights now work, tail lights, brake lights all good to go too! They did all that while I was working on my big plane trying to get it done and flown before Thursday.
I also got the thing that was welded to the back of the camper cut off with my plasma torch, then I welded my new trailer hitch on. The trailer wiring harness is almost complete and the trailer brake controller is sitting waiting to be wired in. It might be last minute, but its all coming together. Couldnt have gotten all this done without their help. Rarely do I ask anyone for help, but its nice to have good friends. Laine. |
