What motor to what speed control?
This may be a silly question, but I was wondering which speed control to use with a HK AP-03 motor or a HK AP-05 motor, and if the speed controls could plug directly into a AR6400L.
Comments would be appreciated.

You will need a 1s (single LiPo cell) ESC if you choose the AP03 (either the 4000 or 7500 Kv model).
HobbyKing has about 5 single cell ESC's to choose from.
For the AP05, you'll need a 2s setup, in which case you'll need an ESC with BEC, but you'll need to drop the BEC voltage to the ar6400 with a single rectifier diode (1N4001), otherwise you'll damage the ar6400.
