I just returned from Angola(africa)
rested for a few days and now looking to finish this model.

After a disagreement with some friends, I decided to replace the fan .
now i am going with RC-LANDER 70MM fan 3575kv
3200 4-cell and 80 amp esc .

Very nice job! I think this is a great subject, it should fly fantastic with that long wing. I've been gathering information myself on this plane, thinking about doing a twin 70mm version with wingspan about 1.9 meters.

Can you give any details about your design like the wingspan, intake and exhaust sizes relative to FSA for your fan? From what I've done, it looks like the scale exhaust is much too small compared to the intakes.

my airplain is wing span---1.26cm total.

and the fussalag size is ---1.05cm total.

the exhaust diameter is 45mm each! (that is the right size for 70mm fan)

if you go with 70 mm x2 you will need to go for 56-57mm for each exhaust.

if you go for 1.9 meter w. span i think you better of with 100mm singel fan

coincidence. I drew a Fouga for 2x70mm fans based on the very nice drawings on www.avonds.com (which can't be found with google because they call them 6-views...). My span is 1.8m. Using 2 fans instead of one large one because of the much better ducts and the possibilty to put the pack between them.
The intake is 28.2sqcm and the exhaust 58mm diameter.

Nice model and a great job to... I love this model I did fly one me self some years ago, but that was a 1:1 scale... great fun. Looking forward to see it fly.
