Hi,
The motor doesn't cut out but turns red as I go just about over 3/4 throttle to full throttle.
Using a rimfire .46 on 4S instead of recommended 5-6S.
Props I've tested: 12x5 sport prop 32amps Thunderpower 4S 5000
with Ice light 50 esc
12x6 thin electric prop 37amps Thunderpower 4S 5000
with Ice light 50 esc
13x4 sport prop 33amps on Thunderpower 4S 5000
with Ice light 50 esc
12-4 prop 32 Amps on Flight Power 4S 5000
with ice lite 100
11-4 prop 28 amps on Rimfire .46 Flight Power 4S 5000
with ice lite 100
On the 13x4 sport prop with Ice light 50 esc, I measured the rpm when esc light turned red and it was at 9990rpm.
Any thoughts?

FYI: Lipo during testing was at storage level.

From the Phoenix Ice Lite ESC instructions, (I looked up the instructions, a .pdf file) -

Problem: The LED comes on when I go to full throttle.

Solution: This is normal. The LED comes on when full
throttle has been reached. If the unit is in Auto-Calibrating
Throttle mode (program setting 4-1) then you may see
full throttle LED indication before the stick is in the full up
position. Simply continue moving the stick to full up. The
controller will detect the high stick travel and adjust full
throttle accordingly.

The amps is determined by the load on the motor,i.e. the prop. If you want to see the max rated amps, keep putting a bigger diameter prop on until you reach it.
