EspritModels - horrible bad bad costumer service. My story.

I am going to tell you guys about my "fair" with EspritModels.

ORDER NUMBER 81019
Small order that I did on the 2/1/2012 and got it on the 01/03/2012.
All my mails were replay with the same answer:
"CHEAP SERVICE NO INFORMATION" - this is no way to answer to a buyer.
When they say cheap – it cost me 17$ to ship, I know a lot of stores that give you tracking number that you can see in other countries for a lot less.(hobbyking, dealextreme and more)
After 3 or 4 emails of me asking for help about my order they stop response at all, so I talk with PayPal after 1 month and this is the only way Esprit response to my questions.
The package was found in one of the post office in ISRAEL with no address or name on it
I needed to find and drive to get it and it cost me time and money that Esprit do not care about it.

ORDER NUMBER 83588
Big order that contain the Sokol Pylon Racer and the ICE50 ESC
Now this time I choose the "expansive delivery" I paid an EMS shipment that cost me 60$ and extra 55$ in my country for custom meters.
When I open the box I see that they send me the wrong one!!!
I order white body and got red one.
This is the order and the emails:

MY MAIL 1:
Hello,
Just got my order. Order number 83588,
I order the SOKOL pylon racer on White/Red meaning white body and red wings on the bottom and I got red body !!!
When you choose color you can see that the first color is the body.
I choose white body and I got red.
I paid EMS shipping to get it fast, and pay another 55$ Tax here.
Please send me a white body fast and I will send you the red one.
It is your mistake and you need to correct it. I don't want RED body !!!

Hi,

Please accept our apology, but I would suggest keeping red fuselage.
I just lost our store demo model in morning haze, airplane is somewhere in the forest. White model completely disappeared in the sky.

I agree with you that red is more noticeable in the sky.
But I want the white body please.
I don't like it red with white wings and I really do not want to fly it like this.

You know what is the sad thing in this story?
You never try to understand the customer I paid 60$ for the fast shipment and pay extra 55$ here in ISRAEL.
And now I need to send it and wait for you to send me another one on a slow and long shipment??
Why can't you send me the white body and then I will send you the wrong one??
This is your mistake not mine. Why I am the one that need to pay for it?
If I will stay with the red body because I'm exhausted and I have no strength to argue.
What compensation can you offer me ??

Hello again David.
If I am going to make this order (see picture) so what discount can you give me?
If you give me a big discount for this order I will make it and stay with the red body with a happy smile on my face.
If you can't and that the way to treat customer so I will send the red one and talk about your "customer service" on RCGroups.
Maybe other people need to watch out from your customer service treatment.
On my previous order (81019) we force you talk with PayPal because you send the order to a wrong address.
You guys have a lot of mistake and maybe the all world should know about it.
Hope you can understand my frustration and try to make me happy.

Your email below could easily be considered to be extortion.
You are certainly free to post whatever you feel the need to post on RCGroups.
If you do, we will also post this and your previous email.

With regard to the Sokol that you ordered; you ordered a White/Red Sokol and received a White/Red Sokol.
You made assumptions about the wing and fuselage color and did not ask us for any clarification. You also did not add any note to your order indicating your color preference.
As with any of our customers who are not happy with what they have received, I suggested that you simply return your Sokol for a replacement which is a different color.
This offer is still open. You have 30 days from when you received your order to do this.

Just for the record, we did not ship your order 81019 to the wrong address.
(which was proven to PayPal) If you remember, you were simply upset that YOUR chosen shipping method took longer than you expected to arrive.


Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I can help with anything else.

Look on response 3 how he sad to me: " With regard to the Sokol that you ordered; you ordered a White/Red Sokol and received a White/Red Sokol. "
Playing "small head" – this is the treatment and answers that you guys want to get ???
I PAID FOR WHITE!!!! And I want WHITE !!!

NOW you guys can decide if you want to do business with such a company that treat like that when you need them. Everything is ok until you need help.
I am done doing business with them.
Shame on you ESPRIT that you treat this way to customers overseas.
Every step cost money and I don’t need to pay for yours mistakes.

Maybe I am not an "angel" but to ignore and treat like that just because I lives overseas that just rood.

Man you just should stop making these things up, you know very well that this is not how you got the model. You were trying to loosen the live hinge with knife and cut thru Fiberglass hinge fibers. What a silly thing to do.

You do not do it to composite model. Just simple bend elevator 2-3 times back and forward for 5-6mm.

just like you send me the RED body insted of the White !!! OR MAYBE I PAINT IT RED ???!!
you guys sell used product. i got the elevator like this.
this is the last time i buy from you somthing
you guys are horrible.

Okay, if you are not going to allow the distributor to make things right or at least make an attempt to provide some sort of resolution then, it seems like this thread was just a Bashing without any hopes to give the Distributor any chance to make things right.

Now that we know your stand, why not CLOSE this thread and lets just say that you will go else where for your RC items.

That would be the reasonable thing to do. But if you notice the OP dug up every old negative Esprit models thread he could find from the last 4-5 years and added to it to give the impressoin of lots of negative feedback about Esprit Models. That is why there were 3-4 ancient threads resurrected recently. It wasn't enough to post his own story and leave it at that (which of course is his right), but he then goes digging up all the old threads as well, and that just comes across as a temper tantrum.

Yes, I am guilty of that myself. However, I have given the Distributor a chance to make things right and as soon as I saw some sort of reaction, I went ahead and provided good feedback or just deleted the thread and/or negative comments.

My point. We should give all Distributors a chance to make things right and take in consideration where they are located and size of company.

the distributor don't want to make thing right:
here he is apologising that he made a mistake with the color:
