I'm wondering if I should send my Hacker A30/28 in because it just does not have the power of the Omega.
Now maybe my plane was extra light but I could vertical till she was just a dot.
I've about got her repaired now and abd she's alittle heavier now but I'm hoping to take her to this event anyone going.

i think (not 100% sure) that the hacker has a slightly higher kv then the omega, so if both are turning the same size prop, you would think the hacker would be faster, on paper anyway..........

A person really has to watch how long he runs WOT as it is easy to over heat a motor.

Well thank goodness for the mud. Today I maiden my repair Edge. The wind was out of the northeast at 10 mph. I was praticing my KE spins and after I finished one. I turned down wind and lost power. She was coming down fast and it also seemed like I didn't have any control. She went down in this muddy corn field. Luckly there was no damage. I put a volt meter on the battery and it measure 9.6 volts.
I was very lucky.

12 flights on the buck huck today, keeping it close with tight turns while staying low, mixing in some rollers and hovers. This plane is a blast to fly.
Omega 72g, 11x5.5 prop, 1600 mAh packs, I like the 1300 mAh packs better.

Yeah, I'm trying to learn a little more low and slow and trying to stop going WOT all the time, at least on this airframe.

2 flights with wind blowing 20+, only fun was stationary rollers.
Put my baby (41" Edge) away and got the foam out.

I pulled the cowl on the little Edge and gave her a good inspection. The ply former holding the front of the canopy had come loose. I glued a piece of balsa on the front side of it.
So she's ready for some action.
