I'm having no luck getting mine to fly with the CC board either and the opinion on the OpenPilot forums seems to be that it doesn't have enough power to fly. (Despite all calculators saying it should have more than enough) I see yours came in at 269g. Mine comes in at 324g. Other than the 3g difference between the 6A ESCs you used and the 10A ones I used (12g total for the four), I can't figure out where the weight difference is. Or if 55g is even really enough to cause this issue.

Fully built ..

with out battery is 6.9oz

AUW with battery .. 9.5-10oz

1 motor - with prop adapter - and prop - ( .6 oz)

with V tail .. it had power somehow with Y4 it seem to have more..

Should be ale to handle a few more oz.. no problem..

When I flew it at the part had to be careful.. it started to clime high..
with out me giving it collective.. wind was caring it up.

I almost went to 1/4 maybe zero for a bit for it to start to drop..

I'm right on the edge of Franklin Mountains.. 3400 feet above see level..

Well, I'm stumped. I'm getting almost the same behavior as I was with the Naze. Not quite as bad, but close. Gradual application of power results in jittering around on the ground and then flipping. If I punch it, I can get it 10-15ft in the air, but then it gradually (over 30 seconds or so) settles back to the ground, even at 100% throttle.

man the only problem i had was the 2blad props.. horrible out of balance..

Vtail vs Y4( being the best ) maybe due to the size.. motors ect..

... But she fly's nice... its Gyro only so in hover you work the sticks a bit..

once in forward flight.. its very nice.. keep the power up in the turns and she comes out nice.. if you drop power back.. it can sink..

I dont have any experience with .. Naze or CC .. :-( I stick mostly to Wii .. and have one DJI Wookong.. which few pages back I've see someone fly it..

on the 400 and 500 .. both Y4 and Vtail work stock.. for me..

...

I'd try a Y4 mode (and did on the Naze) but with CC the V-Tail is a custom mix, there is no stock Y4. But the guy who developed the mix did so with one of the bigger Hunters so I'm pretty sure she should at least fly, even if not perfectly.

I did a "clear all settings" on the CC board and re-set it all up again. She flew! Sort of... For about a minute... See Video below...

This is with 3 blade front props and 2 blade rear. My wife acted as cameraman. That's her you hear saying "Is it supposed to do that?" near the end.

I've about exhausted my ability to futz with it at this point. I've considered going to a 6" prop on the front, but I can't find any in a CW/CCW pairing. Past that, this one has already exceeded my budget for it. Trying different motors, etc is pretty much out of the question for now. Unless this video, which I've posted here and on the OP forum, triggers a "Eureka!" moment in someone, this little one is going to be mothballed for the foreseeable future.

We can rule out FB out as the problem..

I know once you have it in the air you will love it as much as I do..

Yup, it's consistent. Sometimes I can keep it in the air a little longer (a minute or so, as opposed to the 30 seconds in the video), but it always settles back down to the ground even on full power. And once it's down, it stays down because the rear props hit the grass and won't spin back up. I have to launch from a paving stone I sat in the grass and leveled.

hmm... So given the video .. and that you can this over and over..

the copter has the power and is stable enough to fly..

but over time .. it get a power loss..

Come down stable each time right ? ..

I just know the basic of the code..but seem to be some counter or variable would be decreased and dropping ..the output value..
