Cant you replace the bearings and have it last long enough for you to save up for a professional spindle?
Because your new shop probably is costing you plenty already.
I have a remplacement complete Bosch router that Luis send me Yesterday.
Got it from eBay a while ago and shipped there because they could not ship to Canada.

It's on the way, but it will take some time.

Change bearings would be too much trouble for me at the moment, better to get another Bosch.. but 300$ of router when i know it will fail in 5 months..

Store closed?

Hi, Dialfonzo, I just checked your website myrcbuild.com and noticed your store is closed.

When you can re-open your store. I and my friends are really anxious to get the hunter v-tail!

Thanks!

Alex

Alex,

www.myrcbuild.com is not me.
It's my friend Luis website, he was cutting my design frames before I was setup to do them myself.

He is very busy and need to step away from cutting for now.

On my side, I have some accuracy problem on my cnc. Trying to find a way to solve it fast but 700$ of spindle is a bit high... LOL

I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter!

Was this a DIY effort or an off the shelf product?

It was actually an off the shelf DIY product B-) haven't had much time to get it down to well but still a decent start to a project I plan on eventually finishing and maintaining much of my parts self sufficient the website I purchased from was I think www.mydiycnc.com if not just Google it a bit pricey but the best price I could find for a good plug n play style kit small compact design but easy to upgrade and make bigger which just Consists of simply extending the threaded bolts and tracks.

I finally found the time to put the NTM 28-26s (short shaft) 1200kv (yes, kv, for real) motors into my Hunter 400. Now I don't have any more power problems! Way less vibration too. It helps that the props mount up much closer to the motor...

I'm using balanced gemfan 9047 props on it and it's a rocket, just like my 680mm wood quad. It's a bit of a pig now at 798g w/o battery (and top plate; haven't put that back on yet), but it feels much more confident in the air. The motors top out around 100F (38C) and the ESCs are running around 90F (32C) - the motors are definitely more comfortable.

The left front is still dropping under max throttle if I use stick scaling above 85, but less than before, I think. This gives it a decent amount less power than maximum, but I can still fly acro. Regardless, I'm going to swap that ESC at some point and see if that resolves the problem. The tail isn't popping up under load anymore with the new motors, so that's definitely a plus.

Overall I'm very happy with the new setup! At about $17.60 each for the motor with accessory pack (motor mount screws, prop adapter) from HK's USA warehouse they seem to be a decent value. They're out of stock on the accessory pack in the US at the moment, but they still have them in the international warehouse.

I am waiting for a third batch...
They claim to have fixed their problems.

They got a new cnc and are tuning...
Anyway...

Once I have that one right, I will do a bigger order.

Sorry to all, just hard these days.
