rcmano, it's not VT or Y6 that make the difference, propulsion config will be the subject, instead.
I'm using this VTAIL QUAD configuration:
/* set rear motors angle */
#define VTAIL4ANGLE 40
/* this will compensate yaw/nick/roll in motor mixer to have perfect YAW/NICK/ROLL rotation on one axis at a time.
/* If you have different motor/props configuration DO NOT activate any of the compensation below
/* It's not possible to calculate the perfect motor mixer in this case because of too many motor/props combination*/
#define VTAIL4YAWCOMP
#define VTAIL4NICKCOMP
#define VTAIL4ROLLCOMP
Also, there're some changes on output.ino also.

You can try the patch here: http://xmltv.free.fr/multiwii/vtail4patch.diff

hey Flitelab

did you mean from the transmitter?

if so i have tried already, got closer to where i wanted it tweaking dual rates but then i could not arm and disarm my quadrino so had to undo it all.

i will try the method AC has given , thanks tho

Expo is better for me than dualrate.
Give you the same full travel but calm it over the center

If you are going to use a cc3d there is a guy over in the openpilot forums who has the settings

funny bit is i tried 100% Expo and still it is so fast.

1mm travel on the yaw stick = about 2 360 rotations per second.

i want to fly slow and smooth, i would like less than a quarter of my current yaw speed.

I am running similar to Bledi i think 880KV rear 1000KV front i assumed that may have had something to do with it.

my pitch and roll are beautifully smooth, and fast if i use all the stick.

My yaw is wooow not seen anything go that fast, not sure what would happen if i push the yaw stick all the way in one direction but i am not even brave enough to try it and see. its insane.

i am gonna follow AC's instructions and see what i get.

cheers oh great creator

In the GUI you can decrease the Rate of the Yaw axis
