she's built yay, hovered for about 15 seconds in living room, all flighty and responsive bit of a handfull no sensors on.

acc ON : hovered about 45 secs real smooth and stable on the spot take off and landing too apart from wagging its tail like an over ecxited puppy (it looked likt the 2 rear mototrs were alternating in power).

i used my Transmitter trims to balance the motors output as they were no where near even -when i increased throttle, is there another way to acheive the same result ? (trimming the motor outputs to be level on throttle)

is it now time for me to learn about PID settings folks, can you confirm for me wether i am headed in the right direction ?

for now i will try re-calibrating the sensors

ahh subtrim of course cheers, i changed the gyro LPF down to 20 much better now crazy wobble all gone. i aint got a prop balancer yet - in a few weeks i hope.

seems to hover really well only tried it indoors in a pretty small space auto level ON no effort.

yaw is crazy fast, have tamed it a bit had to put the P below 3 to make it less brutal (it was so fast i was to scared to use it)

not gonna play with baro or mag till i get it dialed mag is just causing her to spin slowly but i can live without it for now, seems to hold head almost perfectly without mag on anyways

done about 4 batteries of hovering indoors totally impressed.

Guys you have done a great job with this thing well worth the bucks - but you already know that

hey there doc, any feedback for me did you see anything a miss in my screenshot

seems as tho i need to work on removing some of the vibrations from this thing as i have had to lower the PID quite alot.

If i have alot of wires bunched up under the quadrino could this cause the Mag to function innacurately ? (do i have to try and keep wires away from the quadrino)

i think my motors are also a bit on the strong side as when taking off the tail is flexing all over the place just before it leaves the floor. ( i think i calculated my motors are providing about 3000 grams of lift at full throttle seems to want to hover around 40-45% throttle

Dialfonzo : i would like to be placing an order with you soon, within the next week i think (as soon as wages hit my account).

- Protective Top Plate (red)
- 2.6mm tail Upper Plate(black)
- 2.6mm tail Lower Plate(red)
- gopro Camera mount for HD Hero 3 (Red if possible)
- Assortment of extra standoffs and bolts (standoffs = 1/4, 1/2,1" 10x each maybe)

if you could give me an idea on the price for this that would be cool (i hope delivery to the UK is not a problem - feel free to PM me a quote for the above mentioned)

looks like i may possibly end up building another 1 for a friend

Spin motor one at a time without props and see if there's vibration on frame and use tape to balance if necessary. In case you cannot eliminate all vibrations to the Gyro, go to config.h and comment : #define ITG3200_LPF_42HZ . (stock is 98HZ) then....fly. Will be more stable now..

thanks for the motor balancing tip, it did not occur to me that the motors could be out of balance.

done the LPF after first hover and made a huge difference
