It doesn't change a lot.. but it give you more protection for the motors.
Maybe less vibration since prop will be closer to the mounting point of the motor ?

I took the Vtail outside. and I am not happy I am getting wobbles in both acro and stable modes. I switched the rear props back to 8 inch and that helped a small bit. but should I go up or down on the PID's for pitch and roll. auto level I am down to 6.6 and it is not super stable. on higher settings for auto level she is very touchy.

Then reduce them, but if you have to go below 4.0 then you've got problems elsewhere (i.e. mechanical/frame structure/vibrations/flexing/etc).

nice try, its multiwii 2.0.
tc3, try powering the stuff up in your hands (carefully), throttle up a little bit (enough to start getting corrections from gyro), and try holding the FC firmly against frame, and pitch/roll the model in various directions. does it still wobble around in that case?

I will try lowering the yaw P I have not done that yet. I am also in the process of cleaning it up and adding lights and stuff. I know I will get it right sooner or later.
