nope they are not too fast
The 1450 are not too fast either. You could run 7" props such as the motors that go on the 1450 motos, the 8's I run on them are for over kill! Gemfam has a 7" prop that works perfect on the 1450's |

Yeah, one of the problems with being a newbie (I am in this boat), is that Warthox makes it look effortless. Search for his stick videos, they are really great. But, you watch the video, then you want to do it. It's easy to get discouraged. For most of us, we're talking tremendous amounts of practice to get anywhere close to what he does!!!
BTW - regarding his controller: you may notice he only has one 3-wire jumper going from the radio to the FC. Super clean setup, I think it's called CPPM, but all the signals go through a single signal wire. In some cases, I think a similar trick is possible using a spectrum satellite. |
