It's been a couple of years since I ordered from them, but I had my plans within a week. I don't know who runs it now, but I'm sure it's a sideline and not their main source of income. One thing that was interesting was that the plans were no longer "blue-line," but were black lines on white paper. I suspect the current owner either has his own scanner/copier, or has these things printed up at Kinko's. Hopefully, he can get his act together--or sell the vellums to someone who can. I'd hate to see all those great (and not-so-great) designs disappear.

I fully support RCM plan service , they're a national treasure , without them , it's probably all gone . I believe they have a phone number and a most helpful person on the other end of it . I will try to find it and post it here

So, jet-
put your money where your mouth is, and call them.
Better yet, order some plans.
If you do call them, ask them what the hold up is for dozens of customers.

Best of luck, cause you are going to need it.

R,
Target,
Who has called at least 25 times. And emailed about 10 times.

I ordered two sets of plans in mid December, a set for the Sagitta 900, which I have always wanted, and a set for the Sagitta 600, of which I have had, and lost to a heavy foot on the winch some close to 30 years ago. The 600 I rebuilt the fuse for, and have been toting around the country ever since, but had lost the plans for. Figured I'd order both, and have a stab at reentering the soaring scene this year, after many years away. Took every bit of six weeks, but they finally got here. I'm so excited! Classic woodies to fly again!

I wish that I'd gotten mine after 6 weeks.
In two days, it will be 3 months, and still no plans.

That's good info. Did your order come from CA, or OR?

I think there is a difference in the integrity of the new owners and the original ones. I have also oredered from RCM Plans Service successfully in the past, but it was before the new ownership.

Thanks.

it took three months to get my order from RCMplans...I paid through paypal.using my credit card. They said they were having computer problems. I got two emails from Casy and Jim. after all this I got my order filled. they refunded my money and still sent me my plans. What is interesting is I sent them the money via check, and let them know I did not want to harm them. they have still not cash my check after 5 weeks.. I wonder why and what they are thinking............

Yeah, that's odd.
I'm happy it worked out for you.
Maybe I will still get my plans, but I'm not hopeful.
