41" Carbon fibre Falcon

i have just got my carbon falcon from promise hobby very happy with the build its light and strong .

i am starting off on a twin 6s setup with the option of 8s later
i have made new brackets to get the struts as close as possible to the transom this will help with the handling and cornering

HET 1680 typhoons ducted fan motors , using them in most of my boats they can stand high revs for longer ,

for racing i like high RPM smaller prop i get good speed, less torque problems and better round corners

I'm not familiar with the 1680 series of HET motors..What size fan are they for?
I do know the 600 & 700 series though. The biggest 700' (39x98) & Neu 1524 are about rhe same physical size.

Are they these?:

KV Rating: 1680
Rm (Ohm): 8.9
Io (A): 1.9A(10V)
Weight: 330 g
Length: 67.5 mm
Continous Watts: 1400
Max Watts: 3000
Li-Po Packs: 6 to 9S
Diameter: 39 mm
Shaft Dia.: 5 mm
Poles: 4

If they are that would put them the same size as Neu 1515's..................4 poles and up to 9s, seem like good quality.

Bill, here's a page of their larger motors...............good lookin' stuff

Yes Scorpion 1 thats the motor we have tryed many types in racing this one works best for me , raced them all last year not blown 1 yet .

the good thing about the HET 1680 you can swing a big prop on 6s or a smaller one on 8s , what is best on the day , ( bit longer run time on 8s )

its a good choice with my new falcon i have the option to run a twin 6 or 8s without changing motor or ESC , also the ESC's have auto cell count so its just plug and play

i run the HET 1400 in my phantom

OK so it's actually a 700-68 1680 kv. One of the 700 series.
Here's the 1524 sized one. http://www.ejf.com/index.php?main_pa...roducts_id=916
