My Wife Hates the Beeps from My Charger - Any Suggestions for a Quieter Model?

Yep, this sounds pretty ridiculous, but my wife cannot stand the beeps from my Sigma Pro Peak charger. Does anyone know of a brand that is typically quieter, or better still, has an adjustable volume? Note that I also need to have an A/C power supply option (240V here in the UK) as I typically charge the night before in the house. Also, up to 6S is a must with taps for balance charging.

Any suggestions (apart for divorce) will be appreciated!

Jacques

Umm why not just pull the cover off the charger and muffle the beeper?
Be quieter, you'll have more money in your pocket from not buying another charger.
Wife happier, all is well.

I charge in the room next to our bedroom and have a fire detector mounted directly over where I charge (2') My detector is so sensitive that it will go off at the slightest problem. I have the same detector in my workshop that went off just turning on a new soldering station. No smoke and thought it was a bad unit. Called the company and they told me there is no alarm in the unit but sent me a new one anyway. Turned out to be the smoke detector going off and I was too stupid to figure it out.

I agree with tacx. If that bothers her, I guess life must be great at your house!

There is a chance you can turn them off. I had the same problem with my iCharger but I was able to get into a menu and turn them off.

At my house, the beeps are called "THE HAPPY SOUND!" (I do charge outside, so the beeps don't bother her)

My $25 HK Accucell 6 is able to turn off the alarms. I would think a better charger would have that option as well.

Tell her that you found a silent one but it is going to cost $400 and ask her if that is fine with her?
