Battery nomenclature for Dummies?
Is there an article that gives an explanation in very simple terms what the numbers mean on a battery and how they relate to power and charging?
like 2C 1300MAH 15C?
Also any similar ""amps-volts-watts-battery +motor" for Dummies"?

Yes. The stickies provide exhaustive explanation of the basic terms. In your example, 1300mAh marked on a battery is 1C. This battery can provide 1300 milliamps (or 1.3 amps) for 1 hour before it is drained. It can also provide up to 15C (15 x 1.3 amps) without frying. However, it will only be able to do so for a much smaller fraction of 1 hour.
Originally, charge rate for most lipos was recommended to be 1C. However, with the improvements in battery technology, 2C appears to be the new normal. In your example, that would be 2.6 amps (1300mAh or 1.3 amps x 2).
