To fix this, here is what to do: 1/. invoke the OSD main menu 2/. select osd display settings 3/. adjust "black" setting to between 3 or higher 4/. adjust "white" setting to between 3 or higher with steps 3 and 4 the main trigger that makes the diversity switch go crazy is having the black level lower that 3, with 0 being the absolute worst!!! You will need play with these yourself to get the best font resolution. For me I liked the black level lower than 3, but it simply can not be set this way, without causing this issue. it has got me stumped as to why the display settings have any impact of the diversity switch performance - but it does, without any doubt. in relation to the diversity sensitivity setting, for correcting this specific problem (as when the black level is at zero), it has NO effect on a positive solution. i lost hours of my life on this fault and I will be stick my finger up eagletrees bum about this!!! |

Sorry to hear about your issue, and glad you found the solution! That's a first.
Various brands of receivers behave differently with different white/black level settings. We recommend a black level setting of 4 (that's the default setting also). We've updated the EE manual's troubleshooting section to include this possibility. |
