Y6 or Conventional Hexa 6? Pos and Cons?
I just entered this multirotor game and has been quite sucessful with modern technologies, helps from this forum and my friends.
Now I wish to build another platform for FPV and AV, not for jobs but just for fun. I like Y6 because of its look but some said it is less efficient.
This is my expectations, please help me by teaching me the pos and cons for a Y6 platform.
use 10x4.7 props
use 5500mah 3S lipo
expected air time 12 -15 minutes
carry a 100- 200g cam,
fly reasonably fast, if needed 40 - 60 kmph.
Can a Y6 ship fits in?
Thanks for help in advance.

You can do all that with a tricopter. Take a look at rcexplorer's build
The big advantage of a tri(Y6) platform over others for FPV and AP is that the arms are 120 degrees apart giving you a view without the motors/props in view, even from a GoPro with it's very wide FOV.
