Help with Super cub binding

I bought a Super Cub that had reciever damage. I bought a new reciever for the Super cub and Im trying to bind the DX4e to the new reciever. I have done the following steps:
1. Plug the binding plug in the bind slot.
2. Plug the battery into the reciever. Light begins to blink.
3. Turn on the Tx while holding the trainer button. Release after the lights light up and a sound is made.
4. Light on Tx stays solid, but the reciever continure to blink and wont bind.

Does anyone have any help on this matter? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Update. When I got the plane, the servos for the tail worked. There was no power output. I did get the new reciever to bind the motor, but the tail servos do not work now. Could this be a bad rx?

Make sure you have everything plugged in correctly. If your motor is working with your inputs from the transmitter you may have your servos plugged in backwards.

That being said if your reciver is bound the lights should stay solid.

Triple checked the connections. No power or signals to the servos.
