Oh, the motor and mount twisted right out of the foam, when the prop let go - quite a mess. All fixed now, the beauty of foam. And I got enough mud and gradue on it for some very authentic weathering.

Well, I'm a happy boy! Ordered at 0757 yesterday morning from Phillip because I missed the first batch at Raymond's, item posted at 1606 and 'left HongKong for its destination' last night. I doubt any of you yanks who were too trigger happy to wait for BH and bought from either Phillip or Raymond will regret your impatience.

I won't regret it.
But I will enjoy the flight reports as they come in.

Yep, mine left Hong Kong yesterday also, Happy Happy, lookin at maybe Tuesday delivery. Wont be able to fly it yet because of this wind.

Philip says mine leaves Hong Kong today, so if I get it Wednesday/Thursday next week that leaves all of Friday for assembly - then it's maiden-time on Saturday!

All of friday for assembly?? All the FMS models I have put together are done in about 1.5 hrs, and that's taking my time!! I think you better plan the maiden for Friday

I haven't got confirmation of shipping for mine yet, but I did only order it yesterday I'll be taking my other Fw-190 for a fly this weekend while I wait. get some HD quality video of it this time.

I'm so happy everyone is going to be getting in their order soon. You all will probably be flying before me as I will be out of town for the next week. There is just 1 rule while I am out...Nobody, and I mean nobody is allowed to crash their FW-190. Fly it, enjoy it, but no crashing. I know crashing is inevitable but I guess what I am really saying is to not take any unnecessary chances. Its a beautiful plane and we have all waited so long for it to get here and I really don't want to read any sad stories. Better to walk away on a questionable day than to have to bag it on litter patrol.

I've been flying the Big P-51 so much lately that I'm worried that this will feel like a small toy. I flew my tiny 650mm Bf-109 today and that's exactly how I felt.

I'm sure it will be great though, and easy to land thanks to the wide track.

Yes Dave, I know there really isn't much to do - but was thinking of an airbrushing session in there too. I think I've got one of those "Type (whatever it is) personalities" where I can't resist fiddling with things that don't really need it. I definitely won't go to the field on Saturday with the plane appearing stock out of the box ...

The plane arrives tomorrow Gunna be like a kid the night before xmas.
