Vacation Slope Soaring Sites?
I live in an area that is devoid of good slopes, so I like to go somewhere that has them on vacation. I live in SW Virginia (Christiansburg). I have been to Jockey's Ridge on the outer banks of NC, and to Cape Cod MS. Are there any other good places on the east coast? Preferably at the beach?

Seems like any east coast site with beachfront dunes would work, but I'm only familiar with the 2 places you've mentioned.
A little Cape Cod info. Lots of options for wind direction within a reasonable drive time. In the summer the beach crowds may rule out some sites, but a short walk away from the swimming beaches will get you some solitude. Or fly early AM or evening. For crowd-avoidance, before mid-June or after Labor Day would be best. I've been going to Cape Cod all my life, but my first time flying there will be in about 3 weeks :-)

Oh man those dunes look soooo fun... you could do a re-enactment of Le.Frog's famous "Drawings in the Sand" video
