German Indoor Championship videos on RC Mania

Ok, it was great, amusing, well organised event.

I have put some of the AA videos on my RC Mania website. In the "Video" box, please rightclick the link and save the file on your harddisk. Otherwise you might choke the server...

I will be adding more, as quickly as I manage to cut and encode them.

Enjoy!

Thanks David, these video clips are just awesome. Jürgen

And the good thing with AeroMusicals: No need to add sound afterwards.

I just spent several hours downloading one of the videos. WOW!! Thats the first time I've seen a rolling circle done with 8 point rolls, and the rolling circle with one roll was awsome.

Its the Fun Extra from Sascha Fliegerner
Look here: http://www.slow-flyer.com
The other model (Monsoon) is the plane of the pilot who became first and third.

Sacha's flight does indeed look like the Fun Extra but the other three; Benny, Martin and Alex all look like their flying the new Ikarus Shock Flyers.

In my opinion, the sooner the better! I vote for April!

Dave
almost right. Benny flew his X-Act, his own construction.

Not exactly. That was the prototype of the FUN EXTRA AM-Edition with other (smaller) wings. Just a try, I created this plane a few days before the DM. It flies great but I have to fly it much more, so that I know it well.

Regards,

Sascha

What is the setup on these Ikarus Shock Flyers. I see the standard spec from the Ikarus site is the G310 (Speed 300), but what about gearing?

I was wondering specifically about Martin and Alex's.

Guessing my MiniAC 1215/16 geared 6.6/1 with 3s1p Etec 1200's should be adequate
