***Dave Kellogg 6th Annual Memorial Fly-In Saturday April 21st 2012***
This year, as usual, the celebration of the life and times of our friend Dave Kellogg will happen at our favorite beach and slope named in his honor.
Last year we were blessed with good air and the hope is this time around we will also get to fly a gaggle of planes up and down the slope they way he loved to.
So you are all cordially invited to gather and meet up with the usual suspects at Daveís favorite beach in Carlsbad to remember him, have something to eat and maybe even fly, provided the wind is there!
Festivities will begin at Dave's Beach around mid-morning and continue until sunset.
There's usually plenty of food and beverages for all. But by all means feel free to bring something for yourself and others or volunteer your help and donations.
As is customary, we will have memorial T-shirts available. It helps if you tell us in advance how many you need and in what size. It will save you a few bucks if you pre-order. Send me a PM and let me know what size and how many you need.
For those unfamiliar with Dave, or those needing a refresher, please refer to the thread we posted

I'll take uno grande kamisadentro Matin.
I'll send you a PM too since you requested: "Send me a PM and let me know what size and how many you need."
What do you guys think about sending another plane with Dave's ashes or whatnot out toward the sunset.... With all our RC plane knowledge you would expect we should get one to fly farther than the last one.

I'm working on something I like to call a NON Race.
It's basically the same as a MOM, but is less formal and requires no flagmen.
This way anyone can join in or drop out anytime they want.
Nobody has to wait their turn or be bored with flag duty.
I just need to figure out how to decide the winner.
