This used to be my work area-now its more of a storage room. I seem to do most of my work in the lounge-maybe thats why my socks always have foam and balsa stuck to them

This is supposed to be my work bench. All the tools and paints etc are here. Unfortunately I have a disease that makes me buy or make more planes than I really have room for. So I guess you could call this room my hanger

Hey California Condor,

You have some very interesting models in your photo. Are some of them free flight or control line? Do you mind describing:
white one with the black leading edge
very thin fuse with the transparent green stab
gold fuse with black and silver wing?

Thanks,

I have to ask, are you retired? I'm only asking because that would seem like a dream come true to fall asleep next to my beloved models, thinking about each new day and the possibilities each one holds, and then waking up, seeing all the planes I've built over the years, aching to tinker, build, fly, experiment...

Seems like the life for me.

I'm afraid our working table is not as nice. We (my son and I) use the dining room table. If the wife allows it, we open it up for more room, so we can work together, he on his Dazzler and I on my Unicorn. The picture is just before dinner I think. You can see nearly half the table cleared. That should be enough room for all of 5 us to sit at...

When cutting, glueing etc. I put an old wardrobe shelf on the table.

But come Friday, the table must be cleared for the weekend! That's OK, 'cause we'll be flying anyway
