we finalized the power system on mine.
30/3 and an 8s2p tanic pack.
initial static tests yielded a little over 1kw@36a. should provide 200w per lb......

Wow! That is awesome power. Can't wait to hear how it flies.
Are you installing retracts? Can you post pix of Tanics?

Phil:
no gear on this one.
i needed a 90mm for dirt and grass fields.
the tanic pack is slighty smaller than a 6s4p TP pack.
weight w/connectors is 29oz

MWE

Hi Greg,
Do you plan on flying the Panther at MWE?
How abrasive is that surface to land on?
I was thinking of shipping my Pyranha and flying it there.
Regards,
Bob Belluomini

Hi Bob:
thats the plan. we should have 2 Panthers ready.
as far as the surface, i use tape or a small ply keel. it works reasonably well........gregg

Looks good Gregg. I'm thinking of coming down for MWE, I think my F-18 could handle ROG off of that field if it's not wet and rutted. Of course it was so busy last year I only got to fly once... I guess I could fly during the noon time jet window if there will be one again.
