10x23& 11x22 F5D pylon props

We have stock of Georgi pylon props in 10x23 and 11x22 sizes. Both have hubs for 6mm shafts and come with a 30mm spinner. Price is $85. Will be up on the web soon--if you are in a hurry to try these call and Lisa will get the order placed.

Now I have to make Neu fuse mold for the X-plane to accommodate 30mm spinners.Wonder, what current to expect with same motor set up and new props?Looking forward to easy launches without torque roll.
Thanx Steve for the good news.
Yuri.

Crud, I was planning to use one of these on an X... I wonder if Georgi can mount these on a larger spinner...

32mm?

GM only seem to make 33's and 38's from what I can see on the SUSA website so I guess there is always the option of pressing out the yolk pins and then mounting the blades on a RFM spinner. Doesn't look impossible assuming the pins are 3mm: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=37 and also gives you a choice of shaft sizes too.

Alternatively is to wait awhile until blades from other manufacturers become available and just mount them up in any spinner you like. Marcus Koch seems to leading this race and Big Bruce is hinting at April. I'm happy with the two sets of Koch blades I have.

I've been following the production of double overpitch props for a few months now: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=12 and been doing some testing with different setups myself. I think many people will miss the instant acceleration that you have to forego going to 20+ inches of pitch and will be cutting back the pitch to get a better balance of top speed and acceleration after a few flights. My 2 cents worth anyway!

Don't want to wait??? I guess you could ask Georgi really nicely for a 32mm spinner!

Are there also 5mm hubs? Most people I know would use the KPG 25 box for such an application and a 5mm shaft seems plenty strong for F5D power.

Unfortunately it appears only 6mm at this stage.

Maybe the AJ Aeromodel stuff might interest you more due to the wider range of shaft sizes available: http://ajaeromodels.com/forf5d

Peter M ,

Please before you know the facts , don't spam the thread...

The other sizes for the motor shaft are also 4mm 5mm and 6mm.

32/33mm is possible but nobody ordered.

I also don't make only 33 and 38mm.

It really doesn't help anybody to claim things you personally don't know.

Thanks Georgi for clearing that up!

When there is a vacuum of ready available information, we sometimes have to make assumptions that are occasionally wrong.

Now, while we are talking about factual information, do have any inflight test results or recommended motor setups for your props in F5D sized planes?
There is not much dependable information available anywhere and I'm sure me and many others would appreciate any information you have.

If someone was to order a 32mm spinner with 5mm shaft (common setup for an X Plane for example), what sort of delivery time would be involved?

Regards
Peter

PS: Do you have a website where all this information is located?
