Original owner: Chip and Merle Hyde
Designer: Dick Hanson

I purchased the model from the Hydes a few years ago. It is built to be fully dis-assembled for transportation. Features one of Merles early soft mounts!!!!

The finish is clear monokote and K&B Superpoxy paint. Tremendous detail and is set-up for Rossi RE with fully enclosed pipe.

Airplane $400
Rossi engine, header and pipe $375
Retracts $70

Rusty,
Do you still have the Webra pipe?
...And Webra 61 long stroke?
Thats for use in a MK Curare 60 that I have.

Please PM me or post if you still have...

Webra .61 rings short and long stoke are also of interest if you have.

Thanks, /Rui

OPS engines

The following appear to be in really fine shape, maybe even new and un-run. I have done this long enough to know that engines should at least be represented as bench run unless they look absolutely perfect. I purchased them and they were represetned as new...probably not all are.

OPS 60 SE from Joe Bridi and OPS Carb appears new $200

OPS 60 RE with with OPS carb maybe bench run $175

OPS 60 SE with Super Tigre carb maybe bench run $175

OPS 65cc silenced and tuned pipe $60

I have a number of headers and a few other tuned pipes for these motors as well.

Prices do not include shipping.

I have one, or perhaps it's the V instead of the VR. And I'm not using it.

The 61 V is OS's rear exhaust short stroke. The VF is the front intake version while the VR is the rear intake version typically used on boats and on fans.

Thought it might help.

So I dont have read the entire thread would there be a Gold Head FSR 61 available? I am new to the classic pattern but would love to have one of those in my collection. Thanks

Rusty,

I sent you a PM and am waiting for your reply. Please use my email address as requested as my RCG PM box keeps filling up. I believe yours might be too.

I'd like to conclude the transaction this week if possible.

Thanks, David

Yes you are right, OS 61 ABC rear exhaust & rear valve ... but also used on early 1980's F3A airplanes too. Like the Olympus at the Pensacola 1983 WC

Franck,

I was actually wondering if the VR might have different timing than the VF for a higher rpm power band. Probably still fine on an 11x 7 though.

Has anyone fired up a VR on an APC 11x7 on 15%? I'm curious if it'll tach more than 15K. Will?
