Nice looking tug ! How much weight are you going to add to bring it down to the water line?
I have a big tug myself and was just wondering.

Not sure yet. It all depends on the models finished weight and how much water the hull will displace. I'm guessing around 45 - 50 pounds..

Cockpit gauges and compass is in. Also have all glass and roof installed. Model is sitting on a new dolly which indexes with the stand. Exhaust parts are being glued in so it's time to start working on the smoker...

Pipes and heat shields are airbrushed and done. Used basic schedule 40 PVC and turned the inside down to make it appear thin wall. Just painted the lower structure gray and the BBQ hatch. Really like how the colors are coming along...

Very nice! Great build!

I was wondering about the 1:12 Captain you have on the bridge. He is the best human representative I've seen in 1:12 scale. Will you share you source please?

Finished with all the sanding and prep work. After a final scuff of the hull, I added the superglue gel weld lines. They are really hard to photograph right now but will show up after paint..
