Can I slope this kind of plane? WM combat plane or ACE simple 400??
Wind blowing is in season now. I have slope the Thunder Tiger Ehawk successfully but landing is tough so I got some rebuilding.
I also have a World Model Combat Scale series which I currently fly as a eplane. Symm wing, it flew well as eplane.
Wing Span: 48 in. / 1220 mm
Wing Area: 437 sq. in. / 28 sq. dm
Flying Weight: ~4lbs
Fuselage: 41 in. / 1040 mm
Radio: 4 channels 4 servos
Thinking of convert it to sloper!
Will it fly? What about the ACE Simple 400?
I need something that can take some hit as the landing strip is non existing. Failing that I can get Zagi or wing, but that is last option.

I think the first obstacle to getting the above plane to slope is the weight.
IMHO if you can either get the weight down or get strong enough lift just about any plane will fly on slope lift. Its a matter getting the glide ratio of the aircraft to be equal to or better than the available lift. So if a plane sinks at 100fpm trimmed in a glide youll need at least 100fpm of air moving up the slope to stay level.
I may be totally wrong here, so flame proof gear is on, go ahead shoot me down if Im wrong.

Sorry, the WM Combat is actually lighter than that. My mistake.
THe weight mentioned come with motor and the battery. I can fly completely unpower. I keep the power plant on as the hill is near the housing area and it is as a back up.
The Ace simple 400 is a sp400 foam wing with normal balsa fuse. AUW about 16oz. Quite a fast power flyer.
