Question
Why aren't servo gears greased?

I opened up one of my mini cp servos and none of the gears are greased. If it ain't broken don't fix it, so I'm not going to add grease. But why not? Why isn't any in it?
I get that servos don't rotate at high speeds and continuously, but still, wouldn't a little grease relieve the wear and tear on these little plastic gears?

Or is it walkera doing this on purpose to sell more replacement servos?
Does anybody grease their servo gears?

Brass and nylon are self-lubricating, so it's made of either of those materials, that could be the reason why.

Like he said, they're self lubricating. Grease would also add some drag, and these little servos often need all the help they can get. They're more consistent and move more freely without grease. I over greased the servo in my truck once, it would barely move

Because Walkera doesn't have any lobbyists in Washington.

Some servos Are greased. Seemingly some of the cheapest/nastiest don't bother as it adds to mfg costs.
Also these are expected to die looong before a lack of grease takes any wear toll.

the gears are plastic, so it doesn't need it..
it would be like putting grease on pinion and main gear, no one puts grease there
