When the simulator port is connected the TX skips the binding process and turns off the transmitter. I was thinking that you could install a FrSky module sharing the same antenna by having a toggle switch that would hook up the FrSky module as if the simulator port was being used (it's just PPM). This way the radio would skip binding and turn off it's transmitter module allowing the FrSky module to use the same antenna. You'd just need to drill holes for a toggle switch and the FrSky bind button and LED.

What size allen wrench do I need to remove the screws in the Devo 8? I just got my 8D module but I didn't realize that it's not using phillips head screws.

Does it automatically change the foreground color to white if the background is too dark, or did you do something with the fonts in the black scheme?

On devo12 there are three themes to select and the 2nd theme its default text colour is white, so i just make use of that for darker theme

I think no.
It depends on the back illumination, not the contents...

Just need to find the string for changing the font color..I'll let you know if i found it

I second that, the pixel rendering is not very power intensive, it's the back lighting that draws most of the power for the screen.

I've noticed that the batteries seem to last much longer when the TX is hooked up to a simulator.
