This is the one I did way back when:

Hi guys!! I have been this thread for almost 3 hours now, it is very long! =D But it doesn't seem to answer my question anywhere... Sorry if it did..
My question is whether Walkera Devo series supports FatShark Dominators Head Tracker??

It uses Trainer port, but I don't get how do I connect and set it up to work...
PS: normal male 3.5mm to male 3.5mm cable, like the one in speakers ?....

Thank you, It is very important ...

HI, I'm looking to buy a new remote control, and I found the new DEVO F7 with video rx, I don't know if this control can support the special firmware.
some one can tell me if it is possible to port the firmware to this device?

The DEVO 7, F4 and F7 are not supported by deviation.
The 7 probably never will be.
The F4 and F7 has limited display capabilities (no graphs), which would make porting a bit pointless, but all depend on how much PhracturedBlue will be bored after porting it to the DEVO 12...

Get the DEVO 10. And usually the RX that comes with them has no Gyro. Just my 2cents.

I don't think it's the limitation of the LCD display, but rather of the OSD component, since it seems that they simply overlay the menu text onto the video display...

Anybody else having problems with deviation v2.1.1 crashing (reboot) when you try to assign a switch to a complex mix? I'm having this problem with a devo10 and I've tried reflashing but it's still messed up. My devo8s did this once, but I reflashed it and it has worked perfectly since.

I'm trying to work up a program for sailplane thatt will require several complex mixes, so I really need to figure this out.

Thanks,
Steve C

It's a known bug in 2.1.xx It has been fixed in the codebase, and will be in the next release

How about the bug with the 2801 receiver where you only can bind during the last 2 seconds of the timer countdown. Anything before that causes the servo's to come up in a strange position. A subsequent re-power of the heli will then correct this.

Ok thanks

I did find another firmware last night that works, but it sends the curser up to the top every time you change the complex mixer page. It takes 16 button presses to change a mixer to page 5, but it does seem to work fine otherwise.

Awesome stuff. I really like the idea of using one tx for multiple rx's. I'll be really excited if you get the frsky stuff working

At the very beginning of deviation home page, it says:

"Includes support for DEVO 6/6S/8/8S/10"

but towards the end of the same page, it says:

"Support for multiple protocols without any modifications to the transmitter:
Walkera Devo 6/7/8/10/12"

So can I download the deviation firmware for my Devo7 transmitter?

Thank you.
