Monto rc is carrying gemfan propellers.

I just ordered a set of these and today I got them and man they are NICE for the price I just put them on without balancing and they are MUCH smoother than EPP props
Half the price of APC's and just as good IMHO.

You do realize they cost $0.50/8" $0.60/$10" and I guess 0.70$/11" direct from gemfan, right? OK just sayin'.

Also I'm really sick of the dumb maytech 400Hz 16kHz ad on top of this page, I mean, its already been proven they're selling HK BlueSeries with a different label and marking it up 10x. I guess that's capitalism for ya.

Gotta link to those props? I'd be interested in buying some more. I didn't know you could get them cheaper. Just goes to show you how inflated APC prices are.

plus there's a ton of "gemfan props" threads where all sorts of chinese vendors are reselling the stuff.
but still nowhere near $5/prop montorc is pulling.

I got four props from monto for less than ten dollars. It's not 5 dollars per prop. It's 4.77 per pair making them 2.38 apiece. And with 3 dollars shipping it comes to a little over 3 dollars apiece and I don't have to wait three weeks or more. APC props start at 5 dollars apiece not including shipping.

Randall, these are the props I use:

http://www.blueskyrc.com/index.php?m...=index&cPath=6

The 2 blade ones....use them right out of the bag with no vibration issues...knock on wood. $2 each plus shipping works out $2.33 each with shipping (I buy 4 sets at a time).

Mind you these are only 8"....sorry didn't see you were looking at 11" props...

They only come in 8X4.5s though. I use 11X4.7's for carrying a camera. Good price though.

Hey so how DO you detemine the Hz rating of an esc anyway? I've got rctimer 30 amp esc's in both of my quads and can't seem to get an answer. Know how I can find out?

Here's a video I just did with my gemfan props as they came. No balancing required. I need to work on my camera mount. The bushings are apparently getting loose.

That's why I stay away from 3 blade props. Too much hassle to get them to balance.

Makes no difference to me i have 2 bladed Hobby king fans which are harder to balance than my 3 bladed ones , the biggest prop i have i think is around 10x4.5 , in 10 years ive never had a prop that didnt need at least a piece of tape.

At least that site looks like it has plenty of stock even if it is a little overpriced , hopefully the service makes up the little extra

Well, as you can see, my video shows no jello with no balancing so I'd say these props are pretty darned close.
