3DHS Edge 48 and 58"
Question..... I saw on forums before but now i cannot find it, but i saw that the Edge's had to have weight added to the noise to get proper CG...
How much was was it? I am flying a 2x4S (Parallel) 2200Mah on the 58 and i have to shove the batterys all the way up into the noise of the plane... I added 212 grams to the noise of the plane, which let me scoot the battery's back a hair.. I would like to move them back about a half a battery more... Is it ok to keep adding weight to acheive moving the battery's back?
The 48" is not so bad, and i have not added much if any weight to it. The setups are as follows:
x2 4s 2200 Mah battery’s (about 261 grams each)
Hacker A30-14S V2
Hacker XB Pro 55amp
Hyperion 3S 2500Mah Battery
Thanks again for letting me pick your guys brains.

Adding weight would definately not be the way I would go about it but that would work. I have the same setup on my 58 and I am able to get a slighty nose heavy CG with it. I made a small shelf to slide the battery under up front and then I simply strap down the back of them. Very simple and it keeps you from having to add weight.

I am struggling to get my 58" to balance.
I am running 5245 all round and 5S 3700. I have had to add weight. ESC and RX as far forward as possible.
I flew it and need to add more weight as still a little pitchy.
Joe, whats your set-up to balance with no added weight?
